Go the TAN
February I pushed the wheelchair the 3.8kms around 'the TAN' - the botanic gardens in Melbourne to raise funds for FA research..

Mick's Book
Mick is a special mate and was my driver for an overland I did through South America. He and 3 of his mates rode motorbikes from London to Vladivostok and raised alot of money. This is the story of that ride. Click on the picture for more info. |
Exhibition
In May FAN had its first Photography Exhibition. Given this was our first ever exhibition, it was very sucessful and raised close to $3000. It seems people want to have my pictures on their walls. We are still receiving orders and Michael and myself are organizing an online shop so you don't need to be in Brisbane to order a framed print.
The success of the evening is due to a team effort and there are a few people that need to be thanked. Michael (the President of FAN) and Richard for donating their time (and house) to organise the printing and framing. Battart is Michael's business and he is very good at what he does. Thanks to Richard for all of the running around for wine and art materials. To Jaz who also helped with framing and the setup.
Stephen and CDS Gourmet Foods for the presentation and donation of canapes for the gala opening. Lorella and Stephanie for serving wine and helping with collection of donations. And to all that attended and purchased pictures.

The image that sold the most is this image I took at Petra in Jordan last year.
