The Friedreich's Ataxia Clinic
A clinic for FA sufferers opened in Brisbane in March of this year (2010). This saves alot of us travelling down to Melbourne each year.
The clinic has a number of specialists who concentrate on improving life and maintaining independence for FA sufferers. It is also a gathering of other FA sufferers, so it provides a social environment to meet others, listen to their stories and overcome the isolation we sometimes feel from having such a rare condition.
